Our Journey: From Founding to Impact

Medic Rescue was established to provide vital emergency medical services to Beaver County. Over the years, we have grown significantly, expanding our fleet and enhancing our community support.

1978

Founding Year

Medic Rescue was established when County Ambulance closed it's doors.

1989

Significant Growth

Medic Rescue becomes one of the largest ambulance services in Pennsylvania by merging with Paramedic Rescue. Medic Rescue provides services to 52 municipalities.

1997

Economical Options

Medic Rescue begins offering "stretcher van service" which provides customers an economical alternative to ambulance transportation.

2004

Increased Fleet Size

Medic Rescue increases fleet of ambulances and wheelchair vans to 42 vehicles.

2012

Upgraded Patient Charting

Upgraded our patient charting utilizing Zoll’s EPCR program allowing for real-time documentation on laptops in the units.

Employee Highlights

Lynzey Waddingham, Mya Converso & David Shipman

These 3 have worked for Medic Rescue as Emergency Medical Technicians for the past few years. All three, in 2023, began taking Paramedic classes at IUP. They all finished the class in early 2024 and passed their National Registry Exam for Paramedics.

They began stepping into their new role as Paramedics in September 2024. Lynzey, David, and Mya have proven with hard work and dedication you can accomplish anything you want.

Zoe Hallam & Riley Shearer

Zoe began working at Medic Rescue as a wheelchair van driver in August 2023. Riley began working at Medic Rescue as a wheelchair van driver in March 2024.

During this time, they both found the love and passion they have for helping the sick and injured. They decided to take the next step in their career and become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Both Zoe and Riley finished EMT class and passed the National Registry EMT exam in August of 2024. Zoe and Riley continued to work as wheelchair van drivers until mid-September when they began training as EMT’s for Medic Rescue.

Your hard work and dedication to the company has not gone unnoticed. Congratulations to both of you for a job well done!
