Job Description: A paramedic and prehospital registered nurse’s are a member of Medic Rescue Ambulance and hospital’s health care team under the direction of Medic Rescue’s medical command physician. A paramedic has the responsibility to provide advanced medical care to the sick and injured according to Pennsylvania state ALS protocols.

Duties include but are not limited to: Oversee all medical treatment outside of a medical facility, Performs primary patient survey in regards to airway, breathing, and circulation, Performs head-to-toe assessments, Obtains vital signs, Initiates IV access, Medication administration, Advanced airway insertion, Interprets EKG’s, Bleeding control, CPR, Cardioversion, Defibrilation, Cardiac pacing & IO placement.

Requirements: Current Paramedic or PHRN certification, Valid Driver's License and BLS or Health Care Providers CPR Card.

Job Description: An Advanced Emergency Technician is a member of Medic Rescue Ambulance and hospital’s health care team under the direction of Medic Rescue’s medical command physician. An AEMT has the responsibility to provide advanced medical care to the sick and injured according to Pennsylvania state AEMT protocols.

Duties include but are not limited to: Oversee all medical treatment outside of a medical facility, Performs primary patient survey in regards to airway, breathing, and circulation, Performs head-to-toe assessments, Obtains vital signs, Initiates IV access, Medication administration per PA AEMT protocol, Insertion of a rescue airway, Bleeding control, CPR, IO placement & Performs EKG’s, which are transmitted to local hospital for interpretation.

An EMT has the responsibility to provide basic medical care to the sick and injured according to Pennsylvania state BLS protocols.

Duties include but are not limited to: Performs primary patient survey in regards to airway, breathing, and circulation, Performs head-to-toe assessments, Obtains vital signs, Bleeding control, Splinting, Assist in ventilation, CPR, Performs EKG’s, which are transmitted to local hospital for interpretation & Medication administration per PA BLS protocol.

Job Description: A wheelchair van driver is responsible for the safe transportation of ambulatory and wheelchair bound patients to/from medical facilities, doctor office’s, or clinics.
